Four tie for fastest one-furlong breeze time at OBS

Four juveniles turned in the fastest time over an eighth of a mile Tuesday during the second session of the under-tack show for the Ocala Breeders’ Sales Co's. June sale. The auction, which is for 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age, runs from June 16-19.

Following are the horses who set the fastest breeze time of the day of 10 seconds over the Ocala Training Center’s all-weather Safetrack surface.

* Hip No. 254, Dixie Lily, a City Place filly out of the stakes-winning Dixie Brass mare Darlin Dixie. The mare is the dam of three winners from four runners. The Florida-bred juvenile is consigned by Quinones Sales, agent, and hails from the family of Group 3 winner El Botija and stakes winners Illusive Ghost and Slewance.

* Hip No. 295, Geez Lil Tiz, a filly from the first crop of sire Tiz the One out of the stakes-placed Sky Classic mare Elaine’s Reason. The Louisiana-bred filly is a sibling to four winners from six of the mare's foals to race, including stakes winner Love’s Reason. The filly's page also includes Grade 3 winner Hattiesburg. All Dreams Equine consigns Geez Lil Tiz as agent.

* Hip No. 331, Rock Garden, a Bustin Stones filly out of the unraced Western Expression mare Fair Weather Lady. Bred in New York, she is from the family of Grade 2 winners Thunder Achiever and Her Temper, and Grade 3 winners Street Game and Pure Gossip. Renegade Bloodstock is the consignor, as agent.

* Hip No. 362, a Scat Daddy colt out of the stakes-placed Smart Strike mare Forever Smart. The mare's three winners from four runners includes the stakes-placed Blue Baby. The New York-bred colt’s extended family includes Grade 3 winner Raging Daoust and Grade 2-placed I’m a Charmer. He is consigned by Abbie Road Farm, agent.

The horse with the fastest two-furlong breeze on Tuesday was Hip No. 286, a Bob and John colt out of the unraced Forestry mare Driven. He went in 20.60 seconds.

Driven is the dam of one winner from two runners, including stakes-placed Glamoride. Consigned by McKathan Bros., agent, the colt’s page also includes Grade 1 winner Home at Last and Grade 3 winners Niner’s Home and Indy Groove.

The OBS June under-tack show continues daily through Saturday, with each session beginning at 7:30 a.m. Eastern.
