Four go in 21.40 at OBS preview

Four juveniles posted quarter-mile works of 21.40 seconds to top the Monday work tab at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's Calder under-tack preview.

The four - by Artax, Dance Master, Phone Trick, and Tactical Cat - will all sell at the OBS Calder select 2-year-old sale on Feb. 8.

Posting that quarter-mile time were Hip No. 92, an Artax-Bonnie Byerly colt consigned by W. D. North, agent; Hip No. 167, a Tactical Cat-La Chiquilla filly offered by Eddie Woods, agent; Hip No. 171, a Phone Trick colt out of stakes-placed Lark Creek, consigned by Ricky Leppala, agent; and Hip No. 195, a Dance Master colt out of stakes-placed More d'Amour, consigned by Leprechaun Racing, agent.

Seven juveniles clocked the day's fastest eighth-mile time of 10.20 seconds.

A second under-tack show is set for Feb. 6 at 10:30 a.m. at Calder. The Feb. 8 auction, also at Calder, starts at noon.
