Four go in 21.20 at Ocala

Three colts breezed a quarter-mile in 21.20 seconds on Sunday and one on Saturday to post the fastest works at the distance during the under-tack previews for the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's March select 2-year-old auction.

The sale was to run Tuesday and Wednesday at the OBS facility in Ocala, Fla., where the public workouts also took place. The under-tack shows took place on March 11-12 and this past weekend.

The three colts breezing in 21.20 seconds on Sunday were Hip No. 338, a Delaware Township-Miss Gumbo colt consigned by Mesa Verde Bloodstock, agent; Hip No. 349, a Silver Charm-Miswila colt offered by Eisaman Equine, agent; and Hip No. 420, a Siphon-Poopsie colt consigned by Robert Scanlon, agent.

On Saturday, Hip No. 264, a Yes It's True-Kit Kat Kitty colt also worked a quarter-mile in 21.20. That colt sells as part of the Eisaman Equine consignment.

The under-tack shows' fastest eighth-mile time was 10.20, run by six juveniles. The auction was to begin Tuesday at 11 a.m.
