Four go in 10 flat at Ocala show

Three fillies and one colt posted the fastest eighth-mile time of 10 seconds flat Friday at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's under-tack show.

The show previewed horses entered in the company's February select 2-year-olds in training auction. That sale will take place on Feb. 16 at the sales company's pavilion in Ocala, Fla.

The fastest eighth-mile workers were Hip No. 55, a Pomeroy filly out of Twinkle Twinkle, by Arazi; Hip No. 74, a Congrats colt out of A True Star, by Yes It's True; Hip No. 79, a Speightstown filly out of Bluffing Girl, by Pine Bluff; and Hip No. 129, a D'Wildcat filly out of Gloomy Knot, by Once Wild.

Also topping the work tab were a trio of juveniles who breezed a quarter-mile in 21 seconds. They were Hip No. 9, a daughter of Songandaprayer and the Known Fact mare Rainbow Promise; Hip No. 84, a filly by Harlan's Holiday out of Burn Brightly, by American Chance; and Hip No. 106, a colt by Yes It's True out of the Cat Thief mare Debit or Credit.

The one-day sale will start at noon.
