First day of Belmont Stakes Racing Festival will have pick six carryover of $23,616

There will be a pick six carryover of $23,616 when racing on this circuit resumes June 3 at Saratoga for the beginning of the Belmont Stakes Racing Festival.

There were no winning tickets sold on Monday’s pick six at Aqueduct which featured a pair of 10-1 shot winners – Rock the Weekend ($23.68) in race 4 and Gresham’s Law ($23.32) in race 6 – on a card in which all scheduled turf races were run on the dirt due to weekend rain. The only winning favorite in the sequence was Tizmarkus ($4.96). Other double-digit priced winners included Mursal ($13.36) and Ready Set Twirl ($10.10). The consolation payout in the pick six went those who selected 4 of 6, returning $66.14.

Entries for the June 3 card at Saratoga will be taken on Thursday. All flat races that day will be restricted to New York-breds including six stakes races.
