Finding More figures to stalk and go

Finding More should appreciate the class relief and the move back to a sprint when she runs in a $40,000 optional-claiming race for fillies and mares Saturday at Emerald Downs. The 6 1/2-furlong sprint drew six horses, and with plenty of speed signed on, it could set up nicely for Finding More.
Trained by Jim Penney, Finding More couldn’t keep up going a mile July 5 in the $50,000 Boeing Handicap at Emerald, but she looked good in winning a $25,000 optional-claiming race there going 6 1/2 furlongs in her previous start June 20.
With Eliska Kubinova aboard June 20, she appeared to be full of run early but was trapped inside behind a moderate pace with nowhere to go. Kubinova eased her back to last heading into the turn, and they made a quick move while going four wide to take control of the race heading into the stretch. She appeared to be in hand while drawing off to win by 2 3/4 lengths.
Finding More also won a $25,000 claiming sprint May 30 in her first start this year. This time, they were flying up front, and she had to make up more than nine lengths.
Juan Gutierrez picks up the mount on Finding More and figures to ease her off what could be a very fast pace after she breaks from post 2.
The speed will be provided by Sabrina and Camille.
Sabrina, trained by Dino Condilenios, set fast fractions when she won a $25,000 conditional-claiming race April 18 at Emerald in her first start as a 4-year-old. She came right back to beat $25,000 open claimers May 31 at Hastings in her last start.
Camille used her substantial speed to beat the multiple stakes winner Dawselina in a $50,000 optional-claiming race July 5.
Key contenders
Finding More (Last 3 Beyers: 62-66-67)
She won both her sprints this year and should get a nice trip stalking what figures to be a fast and contested pace.
Camille (Last 3 Beyers: 77-30-60)
Trained by Manuel Ortiz, she could be gone if she gets the jump on Sabrina, who will need to hustle after breaking from the rail.
Sabrina (Last 3 Beyers: 76-72-45)
She is undefeated this year, can fire fresh, and has been impressive working at Hastings.
DRF FORMULATOR FACT: Over the past five years, Condilenios has a 22 percent strike rate with horses coming back from a layoff of 31 to 60 days.
