Fearless Flyer takes Natalma Stakes

ETOBICOKE, Ontario - Irish invader Fearless Flyer ($15.70) overhauled 30-1 shot Sweet Solairo in deep stretch to take Grade 3 for 2-year-old fillies at Woodbine Sunday.
Sweet Solairo set uncontested fractions of :23.04 and :46.20 seconds in the one-mile turf event, while being stalked by Little Hussy, the 3-2 favorite. Fearless Flyer bided her time near the back of the 11-horse field on the backstretch, and commenced a wide rally exiting the turn en route to a length and a half victory.
Sweet Solairo held second, while Little Hussy finished another three-quarters of a length back in third. The final time was 1:34.99 seconds.
"She enjoyed the long stretch here," said Emile Ramsammy, who rode Fearless Flyer. "She had some pace to run at, and I had a perfect trip."
Fearless Flyer earned $106,380 of the $177,000 purse for owner John Paul Reddam and trainer Tommy Stack.
