Fawkes has Noble Drama, Galleon Mast for Saturday's nine-stakes card

Trainer David Fawkes is pointing the older horses Noble Drama and Galleon Mast to stakes at Gulfstream Park West on Saturday.
Fawkes said Noble Drama is on deck for the $60,000 Millions Classic Preview at a mile on the main track. Galleon Mast is being pointed to the $60,000 Millions Turf Preview. The races are among nine stakes scheduled for Saturday’s card.
Noble Drama will be chasing after his third straight stakes win, behind the Benny the Bull on Sept. 6 at Gulfstream Park and the Wildcat Heir over the same main track Sept. 26.
“I’m thrilled with the way he’s acting,” Fawkes said. “He worked dynamite the other day. He’s doing great.”

Fawkes said that Emisael Jaramillo has the mount Saturday. Noble Drama, who won the $200,000 Sunshine Millions Classic in January at Gulfstream Park, races for his breeder, Harold L. Queen.
Noble Drama was a length winner of the Wildcat Heir last out, and the Beyer Speed Figure of 98 that he earned was a career-high number for the 5-year-old, who is arguably in the best form of his career.
“He really has matured a lot,” Fawkes said.
Galleon Mast is moving back into the Florida-bred ranks after running third in a pair of open-company stakes at Gulfstream Park. He was third in the $150,000 Sunshine Millions Turf in January – a race he won in 2018. Galleon Mast races for Anne D. Scott.
“He’s a really neat horse,” Fawkes said of the six-time stakes winner.
Galleon Mast has won the last two runnings of the Millions Turf Preview. Both wins came under Paco Lopez, and he will have the mount Saturday, Fawkes said.
Just Kidding leads feature
Just Kidding will be shooting for his second straight win at the meet when he goes in the seventh race Thursday. He is part of a field of seven older horses for the optional $16,000 claiming race, which carries first-level allowance conditions. It will be run at one mile and 70 yards and is restricted to horses bred in Florida.
Just Kidding won at the same level in his last start Oct. 24. He was prominent throughout the mile race and for his 5 1/2-length victory earned a Beyer Speed Figure of 83. It’s the best last-race number in the field Thursday.
Jaramillo has the mount from post 3 for trainer Jorge Delgado.
No Getting Over Me was second to Just Kidding on Oct. 24 and returns Thursday. He will be making his second start off the layoff as the race last time was his first since Aug. 14.
The field also includes Charlie the Greek, who was third in the race Just Kidding won Oct. 24. Charlie the Greek will add blinkers, and his last win came in the equipment, in March at Gulfstream.
