Fasig-Tipton Texas 2-year-old sale catalogs online

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 131 horses for its 2-year-olds in training and horses of racing age sale, which is scheduled for April 3 at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie, Texas.

The single-session sale will begin at noon Central, with the under-tack show scheduled for April 1 beginning at 11 a.m.

The catalog is now available online and through Equineline’s Sales Catalog App. Print catalogs will be available at all Fasig-Tipton offices and through local racing secretaries after Feb. 25.

“This sale continues to offer buyers top pedigrees and excellent performers in the Southwest region,” Fasig-Tipton Texas director of sales Tim Boyce said. “With many more stakes-winning graduates in 2012, the back cover of the catalog where we feature win pictures of our grads has become very crowded.

“The horses of racing age section has attracted a lot of interest and should be an excellent venue, especially right before this exciting [Lone Star Park] race meet. The two different categories of horses being offered complement each other and is intended to bring more owners and trainers to the auction.”

Sires represented in the Fasig-Tipton Texas sale include Candy Ride, Curlin, English Channel, Hard Spun, Harlan’s Holiday, Henrythenavigator, Holy Bull, Into Mischief, Kitten’s Joy, Pioneerof the Nile, Pure Prize, Spring At Last and Yes It’s True. Southwest-based sires featured in the sale include Half Ours, Private Vow, Salute the Sarge, Too Much Bling and Valid Expectations.
