Fasig-Tipton summer selected horses of racing age catalog now online

The catalog for the Fasig-Tipton summer selected horses of racing age sale is now available online, featuring a growing list of 131 entries.

The one-day auction will be held July 14, immediately following the Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July yearling sale in Lexington, Ky. Fasig-Tipton will continue to review and accept nominations up to the day of the sale. A printed version of the catalog will be available on the sales ground by July 11, and will also contain information on any supplemental entries accepted before sale time.

Among the offerings in the catalog are more than 50 horses from the dispersal of Eugene Melnyk’s racing stable, including 23 2-year-olds in training.

The interactive online catalog will have several features to assist in the evaluation of horses including Ragozin “sheet” numbers and assessment of each horse by Daily Racing Form national handicapper Mike Watchmaker.

“We have an email alert program available for potential buyers,” said Max Hodge, director of client services. “You can sign up through our website and receive pedigree and race-record updates as well as notification of new entries as they are accepted up to sale time.”
