Fasig-Tipton Saratoga fall sale catalog now online

The catalog for the 2016 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga fall mixed sale is now online, featuring 319 horses on offer.

The auction will take place Monday, Oct. 17, at the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern.

This year’s catalog includes 106 in-foal broodmares and racing/broodmare prospects, 34 yearlings, and 179 weanlings.

“The New York-bred program continues to thrive and the Saratoga fall sale has established itself as a popular venue for both active and new participants in the program,” Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning said. “This year’s catalog features a significant number of mares in foal to proven and up-and-coming young sires, and the large group of weanlings should prove popular once again with both regional and national buyers.”

Stallions whose first crops of weanlings are represented in the catalog include Alpha, Cairo Prince, Can the Man, Central Banker, Fed Biz, Flashback, Goldencents, Handsome Mike, Honorable Dillon, Mucho Macho Man, Revolutionary, Shakin it Up, and Verrazano.

Print editions of the catalog will be available at Fasig-Tipton offices by Sept. 21.
