Fasig-Tipton Saratoga fall mixed sale expands to two days

The Fasig-Tipton Saratoga fall mixed and horses of racing age sale will grow from one day to two after receiving a record number of entries.

A total of 430 horses will be offered during the expanded sale, to be held Monday Oct. 6 and Tuesday, Oct. 7.

Monday’s session, scheduled to begin at 2 p.m. Eastern, will comprise broodmares, broodmare prospects, and horses of racing age. Tuesday’s session will commence at 10 a.m., featuring approximately 193 weanlings and 107 yearlings.

Catalogs will be available online and in print form Sept. 10.

“When you combine our facilities in Saratoga and the attractions of this area in the fall, this is the ideal time and place to focus on important components of the expanding New York-bred program,” said Fasig-Tipton President Boyd Browning Jr. “A number of complementary events and seminars are planned around the sale. It will be a great opportunity to buy and sell at a high-profile Thoroughbred venue.”
