Fasig-Tipton Saratoga fall mixed sale draws 366 entries

The 2015 Fasig-Tipton Saratoga fall mixed sale catalog is now online, featuring 366 horses on offer.

The single-day sale will be held Monday, Oct. 26 at the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern. Print copies of the catalog will be available at all Fasig-Tipton offices from Sept. 28.

Included in the catalog are approximately 100 in-foal mares and racing/broodmare prospects, 60 yearlings, and 206 weanlings. Broodmares will be stabled at the Oklahoma Training Center adjacent to the sale grounds.

“There is great awareness of the success of the New York-bred program among owners, trainers, and the pinhooking sector of our industry, particularly following the Saratoga race meet and our sales there in August,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “Once again, weanlings form the largest part of the catalog. The quality of their pedigrees – both sires and dams – is a reflection of the growing popularity of New York-breds in the marketplace.”

Among the stallions represented by their first yearlings in the sale are Boys At Tosconova, Encaustic, Get Stormy, Mission Impazible, Rule, Simmard, and Soaring Empire.

Stallions making their debut with their first crop of weanlings include Bridgetown, Data Link, Emcee, Fast Bullet, Flat Out, Forty Tales, Freedom Child, Graydar, Heavy Breathing, I Want Revenge, Jimmy Creed, Justin Phillip, Morning Line, O’Prado Again, Orb, Overanalyze, San Pablo, Shanghai Bobby, Soldat, Take Charge Indy, The Lumber Guy, Trinniberg, and Violence.

Covering sires with their first mares in foal include Alpha, Central Banker, Cross Traffic, He’s Had Enough, Honorable Dillon, and Revolutionary.
