Fasig-Tipton releases Midlantic fall yearling sale catalog

The catalog for the 2014 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic fall yearling sale is now available online, featuring 450 entries.

The one-day sale will be held Sept. 29 at Fasig-Tipton’s Midlantic facility on the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md., beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern.

Print editions of the catalog will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by Aug. 26. The 450 horses in this year’s catalog represent a 15 percent increase compared with last year’s renewal.

“We had a very successful sale last year, and our consignors have responded with increased numbers in 2014,” said Paget Bennett, Fasig-Tipton’s Midlantic Sales Director. “The catalog features excellent sire power, and includes a large number of Maryland-bred, New York-bred, and Pennsylvania-bred yearlings, offering buyers the opportunity to take advantage of a number of strong regional programs in the Midlantic area.”
