Fasig-Tipton preview topped by offspring of Kafwain, Flashy Bull

Juveniles by Kafwain and first-crop sire Flashy Bull topped the eighth-mile work tab Sunday at Fasig-Tipton's Texas 2-year-old sale preview.

Hip No. 166, Kafwain filly out of Upside, and Hip No. 164, a Flashy Bull filly out of Destiny's Yield, each covered a furlong in 10.2 seconds.

Hip No. 149, another filly, posted the quickest quarter-mile time of 22.8 seconds. The Leestown daughter is out of Chic Anita.

Another filly, this one by freshman sire Got the Goods, was the fastest to breeze three-eighths. Offered as Hip No. 100, the Strawberry Soda daughter traveled in 37.2 seconds.

The Fasig-Tipton Texas 2-year-old auction at Lone Star Park in Grand Prairie was to take place Tuesday, April 5, at 10 a.m. local time.
