The under-tack show for the annual Fasig-Tipton Texas 2-year-olds in training sale is set for Sunday morning at Lone Star Park, with the auction to be there on Tuesday. Both the workouts and the auction are to begin at 10 a.m. Central.The 167-horse catalog includes a large number of Louisiana-breds, including Royalty Rex, a full brother to $901,616-earner Costa Rising; St. Denis, a half-brother to multiple stakes winner Su Casa G Casa; and an unnamed Orientate filly out of Indiana Oaks winner French Braids. The sale offerings also include a Distorted Humor filly from the Grade 2 winning mare Smokey Glacken.At the corresponding sale a year ago, 139 horses sold for an average of $17,064.
