Fasig-Tipton New York-bred yearling sale catalog now online

The catalog for the 2015 Fasig-Tipton New York-bred yearling sale is now available online, featuring 284 selected horses.

The sale will be held Aug. 15-16 at the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., with sessions beginning at 7 p.m. Eastern.

“Both the New York-bred program and this sale continue to be on the rise,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “The quality in this year’s catalog has ticked up once again, and prospective buyers will find horses to campaign within the lucrative New York-bred racing program, as well as the sport’s elite levels. One only has to look at our featured graduates on this year’s catalog cover, which include Eclipse champion Dayatthespa and leading 3-year-old colt Upstart, to see the type of horse produced by the New York-bred sale these days.”

This year’s catalog is 10 percent smaller than the 2014 renewal, which included 315 yearlings in its book. Print copies of the catalog will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by July 7.

Sires represented by their first crops in the New York-bred sale include Algorithms, Astrology, Bodemeister, Boys at Tosconova, Caleb’s Posse, Creative Cause, Dialed In, Dominus, Gemologist, Maclean’s Music, Mission Impazible, Rule, Shackleford, Smart Bid, Soaring Empire, Stay Thirsty, Tapizar, The Factor, To Honor and Serve, and Union Rags.
