Fasig-Tipton Midlantic yearling sale catalog now online

The catalog for the 2015 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic fall yearling sale is now available online, with 375 yearlings scheduled to be on offer, prior to supplemental entries.

The sale will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6 at Fasig-Tipton’s Midlantic sales pavilion on the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md., beginning at 10 a.m. Eastern.

“This Midlantic yearling sale is one of North America’s longest-running auctions, and it continues to produce winners at the highest national level,” said Fasig-Tipton Midlantic sales director Paget Bennett. “One of the best 3-year-old fillies this season, Stellar Wind, blew by her challengers in the Torrey Pines in California this past weekend, for her fourth graded stakes win of 2015, and set herself up for a date at the Breeders’ Cup. Last weekend, Midlantic fall sale graduate Avanzare won a Grade 2 to increase his earnings to over $500,000.”

Stallions whose first yearlings are represented in the Fasig-Tipton Midlantic yearling catalog include Algorithms, Astrology, Boys At Tosconova, Bullet Train, Cal Nation, Caleb’s Posse, Crossbow, Dialed In, Dominus, Gemologist, Get Stormy, Jersey Town, Mad Flatter, Mission Impazible, Nicanor, Overdriven, Redeemed, Rule, Shackleford, Smart Bid, Soaring Empire, Stay Thirsty, Tapizar, and To Honor and Serve.

The yearlings in the catalog were foaled in states including Kentucky, Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia.

Print copies of the catalog will be available from all Fasig-Tipton office from Sept. 10. Additional entries continue to be accepted for the Midlantic fall yearling sale, and print editions of the supplemental catalog will be distributed on the Maryland sales grounds.
