Fasig-Tipton Midlantic mixed sale moved back to December

The Fasig-Tipton Midlantic mixed sale will move back to its traditional spot on the auction calendar, and will be held this year on Monday, Dec. 4.

The auction, conducted at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md., had taken place in January for its past two renewals.

“We received feedback from many of our core consignors, who feel that positioning the sale in early December is better timing for the overall marketplace,” said Midlantic sales director Paget Bennett. “There is a lot of momentum in the Midlantic region right now, and we strongly encourage sellers to take advantage of that momentum by supporting this sale with their breeding stock this December.”

Entries for the Midlantic mixed sale close Monday, Sept. 25.
