Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-old catalog goes online

The catalog for the 2018 Fasig-Tipton Midlantic 2-year-olds in training sale is now available online and features 600 entries.

The auction will be at Fasig-Tipton’s Midlantic base at the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md., on May 21-22, with each session beginning at 11 a.m. Eastern. The pre-sale under-tack show will be May 15-17, with an 8 a.m. start time.

“This year’s catalog features quality from top to bottom,” Midlantic sales director Paget Bennett said. “The current top 20 ranked sires in North America are all represented, as well as horses eligible for a number of statebred programs. Buyers at all ranges will find attractive offerings to suit their budgets.”

Horses in the catalog were bred in Arkansas, Florida, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Ohio, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Virginia, and West Virginia. International offerings include five bred in Ontario, Canada, two from Korea, and one from Ireland.

Stallions whose first crops are represented with juveniles in the catalog include Alpha, Atreides, Bandbox, Cairo Prince, Can the Man, Central Banker, Cross Traffic, Fed Biz, Flashback, Goldencents, He’s Had Enough, Honorable Dillon, Itsmyluckyday, Magician, Mucho Macho Man, Noble Mission, Real Solution, Revolutionary, Run It, Shakin It Up, Strong Mandate, Super Ninety Nine, Tritap, Uncaptured, Verrazano, and Will Take Charge.
