Fasig-Tipton Kentucky winter mixed catalog features 480 horses

The catalog for the 2016 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky winter mixed sale is now available online, featuring 480 entries, with more to come through supplemental entries.

The sale will be held at Fasig-Tipton’s Newtown Paddocks base in Lexington on Feb. 8-9, beginning each day at 11 a.m. Eastern. Print catalogs will be available by Jan. 19.

“This year’s catalog offers the quality and variety that have become the norm at the February sale,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “Broodmare prospects with stakes credentials, a strong contingent of in-foal mares, and a large group of short yearlings should draw significant interest from buyers looking to fill their orders before the start of breeding season.”

Fasig-Tipton will continue to accept selected entries over the next few weeks for the supplemental catalog.

Stallions represented in the catalog by their first crop of yearlings include Animal Kingdom, Data Link, Fast Bullet, Graydar, Jimmy Creed, Justin Phillip, Keep Up, Liaison, Morning Line, O’Prado Again, Power Broker, Take Charge Indy, and Violence.

First-year covering stallions with mares in the catalog include Cairo Prince, Can the Man, Cross Traffic, Goldencents, Kettle Corn, Mucho Macho Man, Noble Mission, Revolutionary, Shakin It Up, Strong Mandate, Verrazano, and Will Take Charge.
