Fasig-Tipton Kentucky mixed sales catalog available online

The catalog for the 2017 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky winter mixed sale is now available online, featuring 580 horses on offer before supplemental entries.

The auction will take place Feb. 6-7 at Fasig-Tipton’s Newton Paddocks base in Lexington, Ky., beginning each day at 10 a.m. Eastern.

“Being the last mixed sale of the season, the Kentucky winter mixed sale offers buyers tremendous opportunities before the start of breeding season,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “Stakes-credentialed racing and broodmare prospects, a quality contingent of in-foal mares, and 175 short yearlings make this a can’t-miss catalog.”

Among the catalog’s highlights is the 32-horse dispersal of Oklahoma-based Rockin’ Z Ranch, which includes 15 broodmares or broodmare prospects, eight racing/broodmare prospects, seven Oklahoma-bred yearlings, five horses of racing age, two racing/stallion prospects, and stallion Notional.

The auction will also feature a supplemental catalog, and will accept entries on an approval basis over the next two weeks.

Print catalogs will be available beginning Tuesday, and the supplemental catalog will be available in print on the sale grounds.
