Fasig-Tipton July yearling catalog now available online

The catalog for the 2015 Fasig-Tipton Kentucky July yearling sale has been released, featuring a total of 332 selected yearlings on offer.

The yearling sale will comprise the first part of the one-day auction, to be held Thursday, July 9, followed immediately by the selected horses of racing age sale. The racing age catalog remains open for nominations.

“Our selected yearling sales are benefitting from positive results and momentum on the racetrack, which has helped The July Sale climb over 25 percent in numbers catalogued from last year,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “This particular sale has sold the second highest percentage, behind only Saratoga, of U.S. graded and open stakes-winners. We are in the middle of a string of successes for high-profile classic stars, including cover horses like Dortmund and Firing Line. Because of elements like this, we have nearly 25 percent more consignors this July. It is a very exciting time for the July sale.”

Catalogs can now be accessed online via the auction company’s website, and via the Equineline Sale Catalog App. Print catalogs will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by June 12.

Sires represented by foals from their first crop in the July yearling sale include Aikenite, Algorithms, Astrology, Bodemeister, Bold Warrior, Brilliant Speed, Caleb’s Posse, Creative Cause, Dialed In, Dominus, Gemologist, Get Stormy, Hansen, Jersey Town, Maclean’s Music, Mission Impazible, Shackleford, Stay Thirsty, Tapizar, The Factor, To Honor and Serve, and Union Rags.
