Fasig-Tipton Florida select 2-year-old sale catalog now online

The catalog for the Fasig-Tipton Florida sale of selected 2-year-olds in training is now online, featuring 175 entries.

The one-day sale will be held Wednesday, March 4 in the walking ring at Gulfstream Park in Hallandale Beach, Fla., beginning at 4 p.m. Eastern. The pre-sale under-tack show will be scheduled for Monday, March 2 beginning at 10 a.m.

The marquee juvenile auction will be held for the first time at Gulfstream Park after previous residencies at Calder Race Course, Palm Meadows Training Center in South Florida, and Adena Springs South in the Ocala area.

“For more than 60 years, Fasig-Tipton has conducted a premier sale of two-year-olds in South Florida,” said Fasig-Tipton president Boyd Browning. “In 2015, we are thrilled to be returning to the Miami area and moving into a new home at Gulfstream Park during its prestigious winter championship meet. The location and facilities at Gulfstream are ideal for conducting a world-class 2-year-old sale.

“Buyers will find outstanding quality at a variety of price ranges in this year’s catalog, as well as have the added benefit of watching sale horses train over a track that they could very well race over later this year,” Browning continued. “This year’s sale is an event not to be missed by any major buyer.”

The catalog is now available on the Fasig-Tipton website and the Equineline sales catalog app. Print catalogs will be available from all Fasig-Tipton offices by Feb. 2.
