Fasig-Tipton catalogs 167 to Florida 2-year-old sale

Fasig-Tipton has cataloged 167 horses to its Florida sale, a select 2-year-old auction that will take place on March 26 at the Palm Meadows Training Center in Boynton Beach, Fla.

The number is down from last year’s catalog of 240 for the auction’s inaugural year at Palm Meadows. In 2010, its last year at Calder Race Course near Miami, Fla., the catalog comprised 237 horses.

The sale’s 2012 edition will have an under-tack show on March 23 at 10 a.m. and the auction will take place March 26 at noon.
Catalogs are available online now and will be in all Fasig-Tipton offices from Feb. 20.
