Fasig-Tipton adjusts dates for Midlantic, Saratoga fall sales

Fasig-Tipton Co. will adjust the dates for two of its regional sales in 2015 from their original spots on the calendar.

The Midlantic fall yearling sale, held at the auction company’s base on the Maryland State Fairgrounds in Timonium, Md., will be held Tuesday, Oct. 6 after previously being scheduled for Sept. 29.

The Saratoga fall mixed sale, hosted at the Humphrey S. Finney Pavilion in Saratoga Springs, N.Y., will be moved to Monday, Oct. 26 from its originally-planned date of Oct. 6.

The sales dates were adjusted as a result of Labor Day falling later in 2015, causing congestion in the Thoroughbred sales calendar.
