LEXINGTON, Ky. - The final set of horses took to the track Thursday at Fasig-Tipton Midlantic's second and final under-tack show for its May 2-year-old sale.\nSeven juveniles posted eighth-mile works in the day's fastest time of 10.40 seconds. They were Hip No. 277, a Wildcat Heir-Exclusive Emotion filly; Hip No. 296, a Songandaprayer-French Line colt; Hip No. 303, a Seeking the Gold-Frenchglen filly; Hip No. 318, a More Than Ready-Grand Gala colt; Hip No. 323, a Salt Lake-Harbor Princess filly; Hip No. 446, a Wildcat Heir-One to Five filly; and Hip No. 469, a Johannesburg-Princess Lanique filly.\nTwo horses achieved the quickest quarter-mile time of 21.80 seconds: Hip No. 325, a Read the Footnotes-Heart's Goldengirl colt, and Hip No. 357, a Johannesburg-Kitty Carson colt.\nOne 2-year-old breezed three-eighths in 33.80 seconds, the day's best time for the distance. That was Hip No. 388, a Ghostzapper-Madame Pietra filly.\nSplash of Vanilla, a rare registered palomino Thoroughbred, worked an eighth in 11.20 seconds. She sells as Hip No. 391 in Nick de Meric's consignment.\nThe auction takes place May 18-19 with sessions starting at 10 a.m.
