Exotic Bloom wins Presque Isle stretch battle

Exotic Bloom was kept in mid-pack by jockey Dale Beckner before rallying into the stretch and wearing down Rollicking Affair to prevail by a neck in the $100,00 Windward at Presque Isle Downs Saturday evening.

Trained by Fred Seitz, Exotic Bloom dueled through the stretch to prevail in the one-mile event over the Tapeta surface. Rollicking Affair was three-quarters of a length in front of third-place finisher Valley Loot. Exotic Bloom covered the mile in 1.37.35 and returned $13.60 to win. The exacta with second-longest shot Rollicking Affair returned a hefty $155.50.
