INGLEWOOD, Calif. - Evita Argentina rebounded from two losses in Grade 1 stakes to win the $111,100 Moccasin Stakes for 2-year-old fillies at Hollywood Park on Sunday.\nIt was not until midstretch that it looked like Evita Argentina would win the third race of her career. Last of 11 for the first half-mile, Evita Argentina ($14.80) closed well on the outside to catch pacesetter Mi Chiamano Mimi, and win by 1 1/2 lengths.\nPalacio de Amor, second in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante and Oak Leaf Stakes earlier this year, finished third. Palacio de Amor was vanned off with an undisclosed injury to her right foreleg. She was undergoing X-rays on Sunday evening.\nEvita Argentina ran seven furlongs in 1:21.50. Owned by Halo Farms and Three Sisters Thoroughbreds and trained by John Sadler, Evita Argentina has won 3 of 5 starts and $204,900. She won the Grade 3 Sorrento Stakes at Del Mar in August, but was fourth in the Grade 1 Del Mar Debutante in September and ninth in the Breeders&#146; Cup Juvenile Fillies last month.
