Evangeline Downs track report

LAFAYETTE, La. - Multiple stakes winner Delray Dew heads a field of 11 fillies and mares in the $35,000 Tellike Handicap at Evangeline Downs.

Delray Dew, the highweight at 119 pounds, made her first start of the year earlier this month at Lone Star Park, where she was unplaced in an allowance race won by graded-stakes winner Bien Nicole. Rex Stokes has the mount.

The powerful Cole Norman stable has entered Taylor's Queen. Much like Delray Dew, Taylor's Queen won a stakes last year and then was given an extended vacation. Taylor's Queen returned to the races recently at Lone Star, where she tired after prompting the early pace in a five-furlong turf race.
