European sire Acclamation’s 2014 fee set at Rathbarry Stud

Prominent European sire Acclamation leads the three-stallion roster at Rathbarry Stud of County Cork, Ireland, and all of the farm’s stud fees will stay the same for 2014.

Acclamation, a 14-year-old Royal Applause horse, will stand for 35,000 Euros (about $47,130 in U.S. funds) in 2014. The Group 2 winner is the sire of 22 stakes winners, including Group 1 winners Equiano and Dark Angel.

Lilbourne Lad, a Group 2-winning son of Acclamation whose first foals arrived this year, will again stand alongside his sire for 7,500 Euros ($10,100). Rounding out the roster is Tagula at 4,000 Euros ($5,386).
