Northern California owner Ronelle Heller died Thursday at age 59 following a long illness. The Kentucky Thoroughbred Association and the Kentucky Thoroughbred Owners and Breeders have elected three new members to their board of directors: trainer Frank Brothers, veterinarian Stuart Brown, and breeder Craig Bandoroff. They join six directors who were reelected: Charles Nuckols III, Tom VanMeter, Bill Greely, Neil Howard, William T. Young Jr., and Steve Penrod.
