Barry Ostrager, head of the litigation department of the law firm Simpson Thacher, has been elected to the New York Racing Association's board of trustees. Ostrager, 59, is also president of the board of directors of the New York Thoroughbred Breeders' Inc., a position he has held since 2004, and is the principal owner of Questroyal Stud LLC, a breeding and racing operation in New York. . . . Running Stag, a stallion in Florida, is being relocated to Texas for the 2007 breeding season and will stand at Turf Express Stud in Collinsville. He will stand for a fee of $7,500 as the property of Adena Springs and Turf Express.
