A meeting of the Jockeys' Guild's board of directors to vote on an employment contract for its new national manager, the coin dealer and sports agent Dwight Manley, was postponed from Monday until Tuesday night, according to a spokesperson for the guild. The guild will release a statement on the board's decision on Wednesday. . . . Larry Smith, an owner and breeder, has been re-elected to a third term as president of the Texas Thoroughbred Association. Smith owns Hidden Valley Thoroughbreds in Pilot Point, Texas. . . . The Keeneland Association has set the dates for its upcoming September yearling sale. The two-week auction in Lexington, Ky., will take place from Sept. 11 to 25. . . . Keeneland and a group called Communicating for Agriculture's International Exchange Program have created a financial aid program to provide internships abroad for young professionals in the Thoroughbred industry. The program will allow students to spend up to 12 months living and working abroad.
