This year's Sovereign Awards ceremony will be held Saturday, Dec. 16, at the InterContinental Toronto Centre, the Jockey Club of Canada announced. In order to be eligible for Sovereign consideration this year, horses must make three starts in Canada by Sunday, Nov. 26, and voting will close at 5 p.m. on Dec. 4. . . . Jockey Robby Albarado has been suspended for four race days following the disqualification of his mount, Antiqued, from second to third for a bumping incident in the stretch run of the 10th race on Thursday at Oaklawn Park. Albarado will serve his days from Sunday through Friday.
