Frank Stronach has hired Dr. George Mundy, the veterinarian who formerly managed Hill 'n' Dale Farms, to be general manager of Stronach's Adena Springs Farm. Adena's longtime manager, Dan Hall, is leaving the position to pursue "personal ventures within the Thoroughbred industry," according to a release issued Thursday by Adena, and will continue to be a bloodstock adviser to the farm. . . . Owner Carmelo Maggio died Monday from brain cancer. Maggio, who was 59, raced several graded stakes winners in California, including Marisma and Cat Girl.
