William T. "Buddy" Bishop III, a Lexington, Ky., attorney who has been a longtime board member and secretary of Keeneland, has been appointed a trustee of Keeneland. Bishop, the son of Keeneland's first general manager, W.T. Bishop, succeeds Charles Nuckols Jr., who died earlier this month. . . . The New Jersey Racing Commission has tabled distribution of $1.8 million from the 2004 Casino Simulcasting Special Fund until its next meeting on Nov. 15. The fund compensates racetracks, breeders, and horsemen's groups for the impact of Atlantic City casino simulcasting on the state's horse racing industry.
