The Equine Drug Research Institute, an initiative announced in August by The Jockey Club to develop tests for drugs that have the potential for abuse in horse racing, has been folded into the Grayson-Jockey Club Research Foundation. A committee of The Jockey Club is currently attempting to raise $3 million to fund the research initiative, which would be headed by Dr. Don Catlin of the UCLA Olympic Analytical Lab. . . . The Rickman family, owners of Delaware Park, donated $1 million to the state of Delaware's "Good Neighbor Fund" to provide relief for victims of Hurricane Katrina. In addition, Delaware horsemen will donate $250,000 of their purses to National Thoroughbred Racing Associa-tion Charities. . . . I Cant Refuse held off the late-rallying heavy favorite, Ben's Reflection, by three-quarters of a length in Friday's $40,000 Honey Jay Stakes at Thistledown. Owned and trained by Arthur M.
