Hill 'n' Dale Farm in Lexington, Ky., has purchased a majority interest in Grade 1-winning millionaire Lady Tak, who will race until the end of the season and will then retire to Hill 'n' Dale, the farm has announced. A 5-year-old daughter of Mutakddim, Lady Tak includes among her victories the Grade 1 Test and Ballerina. . . . MTR Gaming Group, the owner of Mountaineer Race Track and Gaming Resort, had net income of $1.6 million in the second quarter of 2005 on gross revenue of $95.7 million, compared with net income of $3 million on gross revenues of $81.9 million in the second quarter of 2004, according to financial statements released Thursday. Revenue from parimutuel racing was $3.9 million in the quarter, compared with $4.1 million in the second quarter last year.
