Jockey Corey Nakatani has been fined $300 for failure to ride out his mount, Cee's Irish, to the wire in a second-place finish in Friday's Grade 3 Iowa Oaks. Nakatani took hold of Cee's Irish in the final 50 yards when it was apparent she could not catch the winner, Whimsy, who won by 2 3/4 lengths. . . . Jeremy Rose rode three winners Sunday at Delaware Park to give him 1,000 career victories. Rose was aboard He's Impressive ($7.20) in the fourth race, Mighty Roar ($10.20) in the seventh, and Margarita Maggie ($7.80) in the eighth.
