Rebel Rebel, runner-up in the 2000 Guineas Stakes, has been purchased from his British owners at Six Star Racing by an as-yet-unidentified American and is scheduled to arrive at Bobby Frankel's Belmont Park barn Tuesday. Frankel is aiming him at the 1 1/4-mile, Grade 3 Virginia Derby at Colonial Downs on July 16. . . . Thoroughbred racing is represented in three categories for this year's ESPY Awards.
