The Maryland Jockey Club has lifted restrictions on horses planning to ship to Pimlico, Laurel, or the Bowie training center from Belmont Park, Aqueduct, and Delaware Park, but a horse shipping into a Maryland facility will be required to have a health certificate with his temperature listed. On May 28, the MJC had restricted horses to and from Belmont, Aqueduct, and Delaware Park as a result of a confirmed case of strangles at Delaware and a suspected case at Belmont. . . . Stampede Park canceled its Wednesday evening program because of unsafe track conditions caused by heavy recent rainfall. Racing was scheduled to resume Friday.
