Jockey Kieren Fallon, who recently returned to England after a seven-week, 6-for-60 stint riding at Gulfstream Park, has been named stable jockey for the Coolmore string at Ballydoyle. He replaces Jamie Spencer, who left the post after one season. . . . Jockey Leslie Mawing guided Wata Sunrise to victory in the ninth race Friday at Turf Paradise for the rider's 1,000th victory. A 30-year-old native of South Africa, Mawing rode his first winner at Boise in 1994.
