Henry Page, a leading rider during the early years of Los Alamitos Race Course who won titles at the track in 1960 and 1961, died Tuesday at age 72. Following his riding career, Page served as a racing official at Los Alamitos for almost two decades before retiring in the late 1990's. . . . Thistledown canceled its Thursday program after running only three of its 10 scheduled races due to poor track conditions caused by winter weather. Thistledown was scheduled to reopen for the final card of its meet on Friday.
