Yes It's True was a popular sire at Monday's opening consignor-preferred session at the Ocala Breeders' Sales Company's fall mixed sale in Ocala, Fla. As of 5 p.m., the company reported a top price of $90,000 for a weanling Yes It's True-Cool Gamba filly that Cloverleaf Farms II and Brent Fernung, agent, sold to Son Stables, and Yes It's True weanling colts out of Banker's Bet and Appealing Northrop brought $80,000 and $75,000. . . . The six-day second part of the Tattersalls October yearling sale opened Monday with a $244,355 Agnes World-Crime Ofthecentury colt, a half-brother to three stakes-placed runners, sold by Stratford Place Stud to M. A. Jarvis. The session sold 183 lots for about $8,717,309, for an average price of $47,636. . . . Hoosier Park in Anderson, Ind., has increased purses by $1,000 per race for its Thoroughbred cards.
