Fasig-Tipton has moved its fall sale of horses of racing age at Belmont Park to Wednesday, Nov. 3. There will be no racing at Belmont that day to make way for racing on Tuesday, Nov. 2, Election Day. . . . The Indiana Horse Racing Commission has unanimously approved 2005 racing dates proposed by Indiana Downs and Hoosier Park. Indiana Downs will begin its Thoroughbred season on April 15 for a 48-day Tuesday-through-Saturday schedule through June 18, and Hoosier Park will open Saturday, Sept. 3, for Labor Day weekend, then go to a Wednesday-through-Sunday schedule for a 60-day meet through Nov. 25. . . . Pat Day will ride in two races Wednesday night at Penn National Race Course. Day will also sign autographs from 7 to 8 p.m. to raise money for the Racetrack Chaplaincy of America.
