A committee set up by the board of the real-estate company MI Developments has been asked to "reassess" a proposal to purchase all of the outstanding stock of the racetrack company Magna Entertainment Corp., MI Developments announced on Friday. The $286 million offer, announced in July, has been sharply criticized by shareholders of both companies.
