Youbet.com has agreed to withdraw proposals for two-thirds majority voting procedures and a staggered board of directors as a condition of settling a lawsuit with Television Games Network, the two companies announced on Tuesday. Youbet will also pay TVG $725,000 in legal fees, and TVG has agreed not to exercise its warrants to purchase a majority of the stock of of Youbet.com until after April 1, 2004. . . . The Maryland Senate passed a bill last week that would dedicate 1 percent of ontrack handle on Maryland racing to purses for the Maryland Million, according to Cricket Goodall, the executive director of Maryland Million Ltd. The bill has yet to be introduced into the House. . . A hearing for jockey Jeremy Beasley, charged last month in Texas with sexual assault of a child between 14 and 16, has been reset for March 25.
