Walter Dudycz, the executive director of the Illinois Racing Board, has resigned effective July 1, according to an announcement from the board. Dudycz, appointed executive director of the board in the summer of 2002, said in a statement that he was leaving in order to give Illinois Gov. Rod Blagojevich the option of selecting an executive director.
