Led by a $1.2 million colt out of Fanjica, sons of Sunday Silence dominated Monday's opening session at the Japan Racing Horse Association's two-day select foal sale on the Japanese island of Hokkaido. Six of Monday's top 10 lots were Sunday Silence colts, including the highest-priced lot, a son of the Grade 1-placed Law Society mare Fanjica. . . . ReRun, the California-based equine retirement foundation, and the Exceller Fund have organized an account for people wishing to make tax-deductible donations to aid some 250 abandoned racehorses at a racetrack in Karachi, Pakistan. Checks can be sent to ReRun Inc. Pakistan Horse Fund and sent to P.O. Box 96, Carlisle, KY 40311, and ReRun will forward donations to the European group that is spearheading the rescue effort.
